Shuttles at Mission Bay
AREA SHUTTLES: MISSION BAY SHUTTLE, CHINA BASIN SHUTTLE, UCSF SHUTTLE
Three private shuttles provide service to the Mission Bay area. All are currently free of charge and open to employees, customers and residents of their respective areas. Each reserves the right to restrict use and require appropriate identification in order to use the service.
Shuttle Service Overview
Mission Bay Shuttle:
Operates four routes Mon-Fri in peak AM and PM from Powell St. BART Station,Caltrain and TransBay Terminals to Mission Bay residential and business destinations.
WEST route serves Berry and Owens Streets.
EAST route serves serves Fourth Street, Mission Bay Blvd N & S and Illinois Street.
MISSION BAY LOOP route combines East and West routes from 6am-7:30am; after 10am; and after 7pm
CALTRAIN route provides service from Mission Bay to the Caltrain station
TRANSBAY route provides service from Mission Bay to the TransBay Terminal. Customers connecting with the Ferry Building should also use this route.
China Basin Shuttle:
Operates Mon-Fri from Embarcadero BART and Temporary TransBay Terminal.
Serves China Basin Landing on Berry St. Service every 20-30 minutes from 6:45am to 6:45pm. For more information, visit the China Basin Landing website.
UCSF Shuttle: (UCSF ID badge required)
Operates RED Line route Mon-Fri from 16th St. BART to UCSF Mission Bay campus on Fourth Street. Other buses serve other UCSF campuses.
